A very unique QSL with QSL suffix before the FCC stopped issuing calls with the 'Q' signals in the suffix.  This card confirms a QSO with VE4QN on Oct 14th 1934. Another QSL from the 30's , note the irregular border on the card. Typical of homebrew QSLs of that era.

As we examine these antique QSL images here, we cannot help but to daydream and wonder what it was like being a ham in those days. I am sure there a few visitors to this page that do know, but for the rest of us we are grateful there are still reminders of that era in Amateur Radio history around for us to enjoy.
Those cards you have collected must be saved from the recycle bin and local land fill for future generations of Amateurs to enjoy. Perhaps they too will stop and daydream of what it must have been like being a Ham back then.  SAVE THOSE QSLS !!!!  Paper QSLs one of  last original things still remaining in our hobby !

I am looking for anyone who has a QSL from WA6HZE or WV6HZE from the late 50's. They were the cheapie Walter Ashe Radio type. Please contact me if you have one of my fathers old QSLs. Thanks Hal !
